Dragon Polo Club
That Canoe Polo is the fastest growing discipline within the U.K. is remarkable. It is intrinsically the most attractive of the various canoe sports - it involves a ball - is played in 'gangs' - the teachers/youth leaders view it as relatively 'safe'
In 1996 the B.C.U. approved a series of Polo Coach awards starting at Level 2. As this was thought to be rather demanding for those taking the first tentative steps as coaches an 'Introduction to Canoe Polo Coaching' course has been set up to give Coach Level 1 status.
The aim is simple - to provide sufficient knowledge and information for the sport to be introduced in a safe, constructive and enjoyable manner.
Course length 6 1/2 hours run either on 1 day or 2/3 evenings.
Course Venue Organised by the Polo Committee preferably in your area.
